The culinary world lends itself to vivid imagery. I love to work in all types of media - colored pencil, graphite, pastel, gouache, block printing, and digital. My strong suit is realism, but occasionally I enjoy a little surreal humor to mix things up. As a foodie myself, capturing chef’s hands is a particular passion. I’m not shy about asking chef’s to pose for a photo in exchange for a sketch, and they always graciously oblige.
